Colour

Colour is a visual perception of the quality of light emitted by light sources or transmitted or reflected by objects. It is described by colour attributes such as hue, lightness/value and chroma, and is influenced by the overall context in which we perceive it. Contextual factors include the lighting conditions; the neighbouring colours; the distance to the object; etc.
