Achromatic colours (Neutral colours)
Colours which have neither hue nor chroma attributes; i.e. pure blacks, whites and greys. (Note: very few colours are achromatic; most have some degree of hue – see Near neutral colours)
Simple definition: Colours which we perceive as pure whites, blacks or variations of grey.
