Colour Concepts: Recognize how a hue plane visualizes many variations for a specific hue, into an expanded hue family.
Materials:
Vivid, pale muted and dark tiles from the green hue family
Green hue plane from Kolormondo 3-D Colour Model (**link to Materials)

Instructions:
Each hue family, with its diamond-arrangement of vivid, muted, pale and dark tiles, can be considered a hue plane (See Figure 1).
It is possible to extend each hue family into many more coloured tiles, each made of distinguishing steps to the left and right for more or less vivid tiles , and up and down, for paler or darker tiles. Many 3-dimensional models of colour are organized in this way, for example the Kolormondo model (See Figure 2).
Choose the green hue family from the Kolormondo model, and match the vivid, muted, pale and dark tiles.
